PMZ has lost Ben Allustiarte to cancer
It is with great sadness that I must share the news that Ben Allustiarte, a valued member of our PMZ family, passed away yesterday from cancer.
Ben was not only a talented and dedicated professional, but gave a considerable amount of his time and energies to serving the community and the needs of the less fortunate.
Please join me in praying for the peaceful rest of his soul. May Ben’s memory be eternal.
I will be sharing details regarding the funeral as soon as the become available

Ben was always there when asked. He shared his knowledge of real estate & his time to help other agents. He was generous with his time & resources, and always showed a sense of humor. The last memory I have, was Ben calling me into his office, sharing his new screen cleaner “it was a screen saver of a cat, licking the monitor”… haha “gotta love him” You will be missed Ben.
Thanks for sharing Lisa!
I went to school with Ben’s older brother Greg. I was surprised to find Greg’s “little bro “working in the same office with me. He was always reminding me of some of the funny things that happened in high school years. I will miss having Ben drop by my office on his way to the coffee machine and aking how “K W’s day is going”. We have lost a very dear man and someone who will certainly be missed.
I have known Ben since the mid 1980′s. His dedication for his work was evident throughout his career. His professionalism and friendship will be missed.
Ben and I were very close for several years in the early 1990′s. We had a lot of fun and even more heartbreak. The last time I really thought about him was, ironically, Thursday the 25th. We were celebrating my niece’s birthday and watching a “classic” SF Giants game on the telly. The pitcher was _______Wilson, nobody could remember his first name. Then I laughed and said Trevor, the pitcher was Trevor Wilson and he had a very distictive smile. You see, I had this little pug dog and Ben would always say “smile like Trevor, Cocky”. So maybe Ben was saying goodbye by popping into my thoughts and making me smile.
God Bless you Ben, may you find the peace of mind in heaven that you never seemed to find on earth.
I am so sad to hear that Ben is gone. I enjoyed working with him, he will be greatly missed.
So sorry to hear about Ben. I was just informed of his passing…what a shock. He was a great guy. He sold us our house 7 years ago and was the agent for our business. He will be missed. My sympathies to his family.
I just heard of Bens passing he will be missed by all..
I still remember all the info he gave me while house hunting years back and never once did he get anoyed with all my questions.
My thoughts and prayers to his family.
